I had an absolute blast returning to my alma mater yesterday for their Career Fair! When I was going through school, I had to go to the same Career Fair and I had to go through an internship. So, it was always HoneyHill's plan to offer students an internship opportunity when the time was right. Well, the time is now and we already have several interviews for interns lined up!
It really was so great to be back at the school where my Dad and I's dream for HoneyHill HomeCare started coming true. After my dad had been doing research and studying the home care business for years, we finally got to put together a business plan for what would become HoneyHill HomeCare while I was getting my degree in Business Administration and taking classes in the Jones College of Business' Entrepreneurship Program.
The highlight of the event for me was getting to see 4 or 5 of my amazing professors. I could go on and on about how great my professors were (and still are) and how fantastic the education that I received from MTSU was, but I think you get the picture.
Speaking of pictures, we were so glad to have my sister there with us to take pictures and videos of the event! She runs her own photography business and is a natural talent, so we feel lucky to be able to call on her as a resource when we need quality images. All I know is that we are very excited to have some MTSU interns come on board to help them advance their education and experience in business and to help us better serve our community! It's a win-win for everyone and we are just ready to get the interns started!
